Milwaukee Tool Launches BOLT Complete Eye and Face Protection System

Milwaukee BOLT™ is the first system that allows users to simultaneously attach accessories for a complete head protection solution.

Visors, polycarbonate face shields, metal mesh face shields and a specially designed BOLT ™ REDLITHIUM ™ USB headlamp join the BOLT ™ safety line. This new head protection accessory expansion showcases Milwaukee’s commitment to helping users stay safe and productive.

Eye shields

The new BOLT™ Eye Visors are designed to provide users with the best fit and easy headlamp use. Visors are classified as goggles and can be used in place of safety glasses with a Z87.1+ rating. Designed for a wide range of face shapes, the visors feature two pivoting adjustment points for a precise and comfortable fit. Designed to withstand harsh jobsite conditions, the visor lenses are treated with a hard-coated anti-scratch exterior and a durable anti-fog interior coating. Visor installation is easy and tool-free, using a sliding mechanism to secure into the Milwaukee Head Shield’s BOLT™ front mount. The visors include a low profile BOLT™ headlamp mount that allows for seamless compatibility with most headlamps. One model is compatible with all Milwaukee head protection, and another is specially designed with low profile arms for Milwaukee hard hats.

Polycarbonate face shields

Milwaukee’s BOLT™ Full Face Shields are designed for long-lasting visibility, with an ANSI Z87.1+ rating, an anti-fog interior coating and a scratch-resistant hard exterior coating for extended life. For ease of installation, the shields quickly attach into the front BOLT™ slots on the Milwaukee head guard. The protective lens can be quickly removed for replacement with the tool-less snap-on covers. Face shields are available in an option compatible with all Milwaukee hard hats and hard hats, which includes a low-profile BOLT™ headlamp mount that allows compatibility with select headlamps, as well as an option specifically designed for Milwaukee Brimless Hard Hats.

Metal mesh face shield

Constructed with heavy-duty stainless steel, the full BOLT™ mesh face shield protects users from debris during chipping and cutting applications and provides maximum durability. These ANSI Z87.1 rated face shields feature an optimal shield width and mesh pattern design that provides a consistently wide and clear field of vision. For ease of use, these screens feature snap-on and removable covers, allowing for quick, tool-free screen replacement. Face shields are available in an option compatible with all Milwaukee hard hats and hard hats, which includes a low-profile BOLT™ headlamp mount that allows compatibility with select headlamps, as well as an option specifically designed for Milwaukee Brimless Hard Hats.

BOLT™ REDLITHIUM™ USB Headlamp

Fully compatible with all BOLT™ accessories, this is the dedicated lighting solution for Milwaukee helmets and helmets. This headlamp features an ultra-thin light head that allows users to raise and lower face shields and visors and provides 600 lumens of TRUEVIEW high-definition flood lighting. For optimal visibility, a 70° pivoting light head allows full illumination for any task. For all-day use, the headlamp is designed with a rear cam-lock mounted battery for maximum maneuverability and safety in tight spaces. The Milwaukee headlamp has four light intensity modes: high, medium, low and eco, for up to 32 hours of battery life. The battery can be recharged in the headlamp via USB-C or replaced with additional REDLITHIUM™ USB batteries for virtually no downtime. Designed to withstand the toughest jobsite conditions, the light is IP54 rated for water and dust resistance and can withstand up to 2 million drops.
